About HUB

HUB is the University at Buffalo’s online student information system. HUB refers to Oracle’s PeopleSoft Campus Solutions product.

The University at Buffalo (UB) transitioned to using the HUB for all student information data and processing in the fall of 2011. The transition took over three years using a team of individuals to convert, configure and customize PeopleSoft Campus Solutions to fit UB’s needs.

The coordination of the system overall is the responsibility of the HUB Support Team. However, other administrative offices across the university play a significant role in the operation and processing in HUB.

Vision & Mission

To transform the University at Buffalo’s way of doing business by delivering student-related information in a flexible and user-centric portfolio of applications that integrates admission, academic, student financial, and financial aid information and processes.

The HUB Support Office is organizationally located within the Office of the University Registrar under the Vice Provost of Undergraduate Education. However, since the HUB system supports all students, faculty and most staff at the university; their breadth of coordination and assistance reaches much farther than undergraduate education.
